Why haven't Children of GOD succeeded more? Because we read THE WORD but, haven't successfully applied it to our lives. We become sick,broke, depressed, and walk around like those who have no hope. Why fail? A lot of Believers have a failure mentality.
This can be caused by negative people or the environment you live around or live in. Some people have can't driven into their minds as children. Remember, can't means, you never will. Why fail, when you can apply THE WORD in your life. How do we apply it Rev.?
You may read the BIBLE everyday but, when was the last time you absorbed it? This mean thinking, meditating, researching, Praising GOD for HIS GOODNESS, and Praying. You put the care of things over on GOD and let HIM handle them. If you could handle it, you wouldn't be failing would you? Those are examples of how you Apply THE WORD.
Psalm 55:22 (NKJV) says, "Cast your burden on the LORD, And HE shall sustain you; HE shall never permit the righteous to be moved." Well Preacher, how can changing our mentality keep us from failing? Romans 10:17 (NKJV) says,"So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the WORD OF GOD."
Reading and applying the WORD will give you a success mentality. You also have to be watchful of those you are around. If a person haven't succeeded in their own goals, how can they tell you? Spend as less time among such as possible. Naysayers won't help you either.
These people know every reason why what you are doing won't work. They will tell you too. Either it will be from jealousy or because so and so did it and it didn't work. Avoid them period. Speak, keep going, and pray for them.
Don't gossip about someone, we all need to work on this one. The ones we talk about are what we would be without Jesus. Gossip is very negative and bring the very thing into our lives that we talked about concerning others. The Bible say, in Mark 11:23 (NKJV), "For assuredly I say to you whosoever says to this mountain Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says."
This is where we fail. What we speak on others or about others eventually happen to us because we let what come up come out. Why fail? We can have Victory everyday. What the devil mean for evil, GOD will turn it around.
GOD specialize in turning failures into success. Look at you and me. We were on our way to hell (gehenna=lake of fire) , but GOD turned it around, we got saved. Because Jesus died and rose again we have victory.
We have victory because of Faith in GOD and in HIS WORD. 1 John 5:4 verse (NKJV) says, "For whatever is born of GOD overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our Faith." How do we maintain our Faith? Faith comes by hearing, hearing, hearing.
When we hear Faith, we must perform it. James 2:17 (NKJV) says, "Thus Faith by itself, if it doesn't have works is dead." The two must go together for success. If you don't have Love of GOD (Agape), it won't succeed. Faith and Love are the power twins.

Faith and Perseverance
Reference Scripture (Hebrews 9:18-28) Background Scriptures (Hebrews 10:19-31). It is best to read the whole chapter with emphasis on verses, 19-31.
1. In the NEW AMERICAN STANDARD CONCORDANCE, it states perseverance as persistence, Continue is also stated as persist. This simply means, persist in your faith!
2. Read Heb. 10:19. This means we can boldly come to GOD'S Throne by the BLOOD OF JESUS. Whatever we need or ask we can receive through Jesus Name by faith in His Blood Sacrifice on the Cross. See, in the OLD COVENANT OR TESTAMENT, the blood of goats and bulls was applied to an altar sacrifice behind the veil. Ordinary people couldn't access GOD.
A HOLY GOD couldn't be in the presence of sinful man. This is why the priests carried the blood into the HOLY OF HOLIES, behind the veil and applied the blood to the MERCY SEAT. This symbolized the forgiveness of sin. This had to be done on a regular basis. Read Heb.10:20-22.
3. See, our Hope is in Christ. We have full confidence or assurance by faith that we have been washed clean by the Blood of Jesus.
Question: What does this have to do with continuing or persisting in faith?
Answer: Good question! Doubts will come to your mind whether you feel forgiven or not. Faith have nothing to do with feelings, you just believe! Either you have faith or you don't.
REFERENCE/ Romans 10:17 say, "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of GOD."
COMMENTS/ You heard the Word, you were convicted of sin, then you were Saved. Read Romans:10:11-13.
When your faith is assured you have no doubts. When they come, you can confidently hope and persevere, knowing your relationship with GOD is secure through your faith in Jesus. Faith calls for perseverance! You must persist in all circumstances. To persist in your faith requires, the living of verses, 23-25, in other words, apply them to your life everyday!
Those requirements are how we continue or persevere in faith. See, faith and hope are synonymous, and if you forget love it won't work! once you receive JESUS as Savoir, sincerely, you no longer have a desire to sin. I didn't say you wouldn't sin. I said your love and desire for it will leave.
Read verses 26-31. Now if you know the truth and continue to sin you're going to answer for it. Everything is going to come your way, Stand. Faith calls for perseverance, Stand. Stand in faith, hope, and love.

Your attitude about money governs how you use it! Do you have money or do money have you? You have to decide who will be in control. If money control you, there will be no restraint to seeing and buying. There is an old saying, "What you see is what you get!"
Don't be fooled by such a statement. If you buy everything you see, who will pay your bills? Are you depending on something that will leave as soon as you get it or on GOD? Money must be controlled and managed. "Well Preacher! How am I going to pay bills if I don't get money?
First of all, you must see what the BIBLE says about money. In Genesis 2:12, it says, "And the gold of that land is good. Bedellium and the onyx stone are there, NKJV." GOD created money in it's purest form, gold and precious stones. The Bible say that the gold was good.
Everything GOD made was good. Sin and man's attempt to supply his own needs, created poverty and want. Man's philosophy is," if I can hold this money in my fist, I'll have more!" GOD'S philosophy is, "Give,and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be put into your bosom."
"For with the measure that you use, it will be measured back to you," Luke 6:38. It is a Universal Law that if you give, you will receive in return. Why not give to THE ONE who created everything. I have a question for you. Would you rob GOD?
For background Scripture read the whole book of Malachi. Read also Luke 6:27, 30, 34, 38.
